Solange Knowles

The always fashionable Solange Knowles has just been appointed as Puma's creative consultant and art director

Beyonce's talented little sister is launching a line inspired by Brazil: tons of colors and prints mashed together resulting in utterly amazing designs.

She described her inspiration as "'GIRLS OF BLAZE', inspired by the sights and sounds of Brazil. I couldn’t be more excited about the results."

Solange said:
“Working with Puma has allowed me to express my love for not only design, but the conception of creative ideas, and the execution of them by curating amazingly talented teams”

The gorgeous -and fashion forward- shoes by Solange. I love them!

IT by Alexa Chung

Alexa Chung is a gorgeous British model, DJ and TV presenter, and as of this year: a published author.

The 30-year-old model published "IT" a collection of her notes and drawings, with all of the things that inspire her. Chung had already dabbled in writing years before, when she had her own monthly column in Company magazine and later even became a contributing editor for Vogue UK.

The beautiful Alexa has also been recently chosen as the new face of the classic label Longchamp.

The brand published a statement explaining their choice:

"For the new Escales collection - which is cheerful, colourful and bursting with energy - we needed a woman who was both chic and modern
Alexa Chung is the woman who embodies it the best. Her enchanting gaze, which is very strong and very present, gives the campaign a lot of personality. She has energy and confidence."

I love this shot of the light blue convertible with the yellow Longchamp. What do you think?

What do you think of Alexa Chung's latest campaign? Will you be checking out IT?

Victoria's Secret

As any other fashion lover -and possibly every other human being on Earth- I have researched and awed over looks and clips from the Victoria's Secret fashion show last week.

Cara Delevingne and Jessica Hart.

The country-pop singer looked fabulous all decked up in the British Invasion theme
with a union Jack ensemble including everything from Union Jack stilettos to a gorgeous hat.

Joyrdan Dunn and Karlie Kloss.

Lily Aldridge and Lily Donaldson.

The sensational and stunning Taylor Swift could have been taken for any other bombshell Angel.

The New York based fashion show took place November 13th, with performances from Taylor Swift, Neon Jungle and Fall Out Boy.
In case you are a die hard fashionista (and have the cash to go with it) a few tickets were auctioned off at the starting price of $25,000. And furthermore, according to many reports, the budget for this year's show was around $12 million dollars this year!

Backstage Angels

Devon Windsor and Candice Swanepoel.

Barbara Fialho, Sara Sampaio and Lais Ribeiro.

Jessica Hart with Ieva Laguna and Elsa Hosk.

Maria Borges and Adriana Lima.

Candice Swanepoel, the 24 year-old angel that modeled the $10 million dollar bra.

The pink carpet

Taylor Swift in an embroidered Zuhair Murad dress.
Adriana Lima wears a black, blue and cream one-shoulder dress.

Tavi Gevinson

My father recently emailed me an article on FT (Financial Times), with a sentence attached reading something like this: A young blogger and entrepeneur, check her out
Tavi Gevinson

What can I say about Tavi Gevinson? Not only have I been obsessed with Tavi for years and years but her blog used to be my homepage.
Honestly, I am quite  ambivalent when it comes to this young fashionista. On the one side I admire and hold Tavi in the highest regard, she has accomplished so much in her young years. Yet on the other side, I desperately want to be her (what other fashion junkie blogger doesn't though?).

Originally from Illinois, the Style Rookie is no rookie at all.
She started her blog in 2008, when she was merely a 12 year old pre-teen.  Later, at age 15, she started her own magazine -Rookie- and was described by the innovative pop queen, Lady GaGa, as the "future of journalism."
This year, Gevinson has tried her luck at acting, with a small role in the 2013 film Enough Said.

Furthermore, the fashion guru has been chosen as the latest face of Cole Haan.  Haan's latest collection was inspired by young talent, and first on their list was the gorgeous 17-year-old Rookie founder.

What do you think of Tavi?
Do you like her latest Cole Haan campaign? What do you think of the Rookie mag?

"the searches for 'Isabel Marant' on Google spiked nearly 300%"

Time's 16 most influential teens

Time Magazine has just published their customary Time 100 lists for 2013, and amongst them  Time's Most Influential teens.

Some of the influential teens include:

The gorgeous sixteen year old actress -and style icon- is rightly featured as one of the most influential teens today. Hailee Steinfeld is an Academy Award nominee, and is constantly the talk of fashionistas everywhere.
Click here to read more on Hailee.

It might be far-fetched to call her America's sweetheart, but Malia Obama is definitely an influential teen. The first daughter is stylish and poised, exuding normality like any other fifteen year old girl.

Beth Reekles, a 17 year old girl from Wales, is a published author. She first posted her novel in a story-sharing site (wattpad) and was eventually signed to a publishing house along with a 3-book deal.

All hail Kiernan Shipka! The beautiful 14 year old stars in the 60s-inspired TV show, Mad Men, as Don Draper's oldest daughter: Sally. Not only is she an incredibly successful  actress, but she is also well known for her quirky and authentic style.
Click here to take a look at her unique style!

Malala Yousafzai is a 16-year old Pakistani girl, that fought for women's rights in her native town of Mingora, where girls weren't allowed to attend school. Her activism started in 2008, when she started blogging for bbc and writing about the Taliban's influence in her town. And, on October of last year, there was an assassination attempt against Malala organized by the Tallibans. Malala quickly recovered, and with it gained international coverage and was even nominated for a nobel peace prize.

Maya Van Wagen is another teen published author. The 15-year old author published a book titled Popular,  where she depicts her quest for popularity in accordance to Betty Cornell's Glamour Guide for Teens.

I'm sure everyone by now has heard of tuulavintage
In case you haven't (and have been living under a rock with absolutely no internet connection): tuulavintage is a fashion blog written by the Jessica Stein, an Australian blogger that travels the globe and posts pictures of her amazingly chic outfits.

Around the globe.
The name tuula came from one of Stein's travels to Switzerland, she told the Melbourne Intercontinental:
"I had someone in Switzerland tell me that my name should be 'tuula' as it's the Finnish word for wing, and I go with the wind"

Below, some of her fabulous (and worldly) outfits:

Prints, prints and more prints..

Four shades of black.

Above, some pictures from the blogger's photo shoot with the adorably sweet Australian brand
Cotton On in the city that never sleeps.
